Good morning I had a nice walk yesterday morning. The saguaro flowers are getting ready to bloom. I am waiting to take a picture of them. I talked to my cousin in MN. yesterday and Ray in CA the day before. Gas is $6 a gallon in CA. It was nice catching up with them. Rick made caprese chicken for supper. Good morning, We sure had some rain yesterday, it was steady with heavy downpours all day. We still need rain like that, the drought from last summer is not quite over. These rains will be significant right now. We have a well and we were blessed not to have it run dry before we left last late September. Good morning, dull outside and I think rain is coming I have already had to water my plants, some of them are tall and rain is going to flatten them but the Poppies that are slowly coming up are sheltered hopefully !
Cat has joined the Raccoons today I wonder if they are strays as its are eating the food that’s down ! 🤗

Good morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. At last the wind is now blowing from the South feels a lot warmer outside a max today of 69F so not too bad. The sun is out this morning but we have a few showers forecast for this afternoon. We do need some rain now. Traffic flowing well today, makes a change but done the round trip up the bypass. Good Morning! Raining and 63 going up to 75. The rain started around 7 AM and will continue until around 10 AM. It won’t be enough to alleviate our drought conditions but any rain is welcome. What we need is a week of slow steady rain. Today is Senior Discount Day at Harris Teeter grocery store. There are some good specials on some items we need so I plan to shop there this morning to take advantage of the sales and to get the 5% senior discount. Every little bit helps. We are having heavy rain and it is much needed here too. Last summer there was a deep drought in Maine and even though there was lots of snow over the winter we need to catch up. I just watched our local weather and he said this steady rain is just what we need.
I like to shop for specials, I liked Publix in S. Carolina for the BOGO sales. 😀
Publix definitely has great BOGO sales that I take advantage of when it’s items we use 😀
