A lovely sunny start to the day with no wind for once at least this morning.
This afternoon will be different with wind and rain due from about 4-pm and through the night
Could be some thunder mixed in with it.
Always happens when it is a Bank Holiday weekend. 🙄 .
People will be heading to the coast over the weekend but is looking soggy to say the least.

It seems most places need rain right now. We are due for possible showers early afternoon but tomorrow is more of a soaking rain day. It is too wet out on the grass to mow yet, but it needs mowing!

Howdy-do Lovely Early Bird People — Happy Derby Day 🐎 🐎 Finally got some lovely, straight from the sky, no wind, no thunder/lightning; simple overnight rain; it really helped the firefighters squelch one of the peskier wildfires burning out by me. 🔥 Got up around 5a for a trip ‘down the hall’; and noticed it was a tad chilly in the house; turned the furnace on. Happy May Day! I used to make May baskets for a couple neighbors and have made them with preschoolers and a couple neighbor girls..miss that. I had a lazy morning, going to try and get something done now. There’s a church sale later and busy day tomorrow. Hope you all have a nice day 🌺

Good Morning! Cloudy and 56 going up to 70. My shopping went well yesterday at Harris Teeter. Craig’s favorite hot dogs (Nathan’s Famous Angus Beef Franks) were on a really good sale so I bought 4 packages. Our favorite brand of ice cream (Baskin Robbins) was a BOGO FREE so I bought 4 each of our flavors (Pralines and Cream for Craig; Jamocha Almond Fudge for me).
