Sunday Blessings! Sunny and 45 going up to 71. This happened on Saturday evening… So while heating up the covered skillet with EVOO to cook our taco beef I had an upsetting experience. I was seasoning the beef before adding it to the skillet that I heat up on Medium setting for about 5 minutes. I started smelling a very hot pan with over 1 minute to go in my ‘heating up’ timer. I removed the lid and the EVOO was smoking and then it caught fire (unknowingly I had set the burner to the HIGH setting instead of Medium).… Read more »

Thank you 💜 My daughter’s friend suggested I order a ‘fire blanket’ to keep in the kitchen cabinet which I think is a great idea. If course one hopes to never need to use it.
I have a fire blanket, good thing to have…also a fire extinguisher, one of the things required when we were foster parents.

We slept in a little later this morning, the sound of rain lightly falling on the rooftop was nice.
We had rain all day yesterday.
Our grass is growing in front of our eyes so need to do some mowing soon.
I made chicken breast in the small air fryer, it was tender and yummy.😘

Good Sunday morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy Lynn, Pam. A cloudy start to the day with the threat or thundery showers around. We had a few showers yesterday just enough to top up the water butts. Saves me using tap water to top up the bird baths which I am doing a few times during the day. Reason to have to top up so many times is Starlings coming in numbers now to feed but then they all jump into the baths.
