Good morning! It’s 4am and 77° which i love. It was 103° yesterday and the house was quite WARM!! I got my haircut in the morning and I wish I never had to go there again because of the long gas lines at Costco and the crazy, inconsiderate drivers. Then Kurt called and came over for a haircut. Rick stopped by the dentist, they did an Xray. He has to have two crowns replaced. They cant start until Thursday AM. He has to eat soft food because it hurts when he eats.

I bet your house was warm with 103 degree temperatures. Well, your used to it having very hot weather like that.
I feel your anxiety, I hated driving in S. Carolina we lived in a busy area and the Highway we had to take to get just about anywhere was 6 lanes and people whizzing past on the right and left of you. Not fun for me at all but Denny didn’t faze him at all.
How did your haircut come out?
Yes, we are used to the heat but……it is hard to take.
I wont know until I style it…..I think it will be OK
I felt kept inside all the time with our first summer of 2024 when we moved to S. Carolina in June. I had not expected the humid heat to be so difficult. I felt ill some days being out for more than a short time. Guess my body was not regulated to such weather. When we wintered in Florida we had some hot days but not to the extreme of the summer. Just back from the Pretzel shopping day just about made it again but I do get out of puff these days.lol.

On Mother’s Day I enjoyed a nice phone call from Lauren 💜 Craig had to announce a Queens University Baseball game so we weren’t able to go see his mother for a visit. We’ll make up for that at another time.
I need to take a break from chat for a while. I don’t know for how long yet but hopefully not more than a week or so. It’s nothing to do with anyone here… I just simply need a break. Love to you all 💕

This made me so sad to read from the lakeside crossing FB. We watched those swans everyday all Winter and Spring on the lake it breaks my heart one was killed. 😪 LSC Community I am so sorry to have to post this. We woke up this morning to the most horrific, sad and shocking sight. One of the swans that were nesting was attacked last night and has been killed. Our yard is a mess. Good morning..looks like no one saw my post about going to the wildlife rescue..I know I don’t post at a good time and they are sometimes not seen. Yesterday we went to McD’s and I got a McGriddle…in the afternoon to a vendor market…visited our friends there and bought a vanilla lavender scone and dog treats..At night we went to a family style restaurant where I got a yummy chicken cobb salad..Dh gave me three cards as usual…from him, dogs and the cats..also I got the flowers for my front porch, pink calibrochoa…so it was a pretty good Mother’s day.… Read more »
