Nothing new, church yesterday and then Walmart where I got in my walking since I had been from one end to the other and back to the other side while learning the store. I stopped at the beauty supply too. It was 100° yesterday.
Rick made creamy potato soup. This weekend a tooth started hurting so he will call the dentist today.

I do think walking those big stores is exercise. My sis Audrey goes to the Lowe’s store which is quite near her, and walks every other day around inside. She had a stroke and her balance isn’t the best so she walks inside where she won’t trip on rocks or anything.
in the winter my mom walks around Walmart for exercise.
Problem is I am on a mission “shopping” so I dont want it to be exercise even though it is…lol
I had to walk looking down before they gave us new roads. They were so bad I was afraid I would trip and fall. I did one day.
Good morning, Yesterday was a nice day, we had a good meal out at the seafood restaurant, Barb and I having the haddock and Denny had shrimp. It came with coleslaw and a fresh yeast roll that was yummy. Amber sent me a Barnes and Noble bookstore gift cert. so I when we go to Augusta later this week to our credit union, I will stop by the bookstore there. There isnt any need to fear a leaf blower, I would be more afraid of electric trimmers myself. I imagine hedge trimmers need to be heavy so they can cut. It is good that you got it done.

Those hedge trimmers are very heavy for sure, they need to make a lighter weight kind.
I am sorry your boys are not close now, sadly it happens too often in families where siblings grow apart.

Full sunshine this morning after a near frost a high of 54F with cloud and showers moving in this afternoon.
Will be another cold night tonight witth a possible frost once again.
Got some cucumber plants being delivered in the next couple of weeks, so I hope the chances of a frost have long gone by then.
Time for my morning fix of coffee and sticks now. 😀 😘

Do you do the planting when the cucumber seedlings arrive or does Glenda? It is always sketchy here in Maine also, when to safely plant without fear of a frost. Memorial weekend ( which is the last weekend in May ) is the most popular time for folks to plant.

A company will be delivering some plants in the next week or two.
If there is any sign of a frost Glenda will keep them in the Kitchen window until it warms up a bit.
They do say that this May is colder than usual. 😘

Happy Mother’s Day! It will be nice here, sunny and 60s. Yesterday we had dog class and went to a wildlife rescue that I”ve been wanting to go to for awhile..they were having an open house. We say foxes, squirrels, a huge pig and huge cow, horses, mules, cats, woodchuck, pigeons, and more…all had been abused, heading to slaughter, hurt or sick, or abandoned…some can be released..it’s a wonderful place! It was a hot day yesterday, it hit 97. I feel lost without the Cocodona 250 race on that I watched for the last 6 days. It was on 24 hours since they continued to run at night too. I watched The Fever play but, they lost.
