Even trying to sleep with no cover did not bring much relief last night.😓.
Record temp’s yesterday and will probably be beaten today.
A RED warning of extreme heat today and then hopefully getting some relief by the weekend.
Up at 5-00 this morning with the temp already 73F that will climb rapidly today.
7-00 am now so off for the paper before it get too hot.
I do wonder how Beryl is coping with this heat wish she would pop in and let us know.😘

Just hit the 100F this afternoon and they do say relief is on the way by Sunday.
At least when I am cold I can put on another warmer garment.lol.😀😘

Up early, got laundry done; still working on putting non-perishables away from yesterday’s grocery grab. Finished filling out my primary ballot today; the drop off box is about 7miles from here; i’ll take mine and the DBs on Friday. 😘 Ice, i am so concerned about you/Glenda surviving that weather. Hi Pam, I emailed my friend I have known for years, she is the only DR where Julie worked, they have to have at least one. Celia is married to Mike and Rick and him grew up together in South Dakota. I picked someone out fro their website and asked her if she thought she would be a good choice for me and she said she was. Celia only works one day now and isnt taking new patients, hasn’t for years now. She was my Dr when I first moved here at another place. I wont see the new one… Read more »

Good morning! Yesterday morning I got a strange text from my Dr’s office telling me to call and make an appointment with a provider to keep my keep my care current!!! Right away I knew something was up. I thought maybe Julie retired, she only works two days a week and is 73/74 yrs old. I am so sorry Ardy, I know how important having a trusted care giver is. How cruel they let her go with no warning or good reason.😟 I followed Nichole who I had for years in Waldoboro when we lived in this area. She moved to a Brunswick practice and I followed her there, driving an hour was well worth it to have her. Soon we will be back in Brunswick. That was very sweet of her. Julie was my kind of person…not all business, we did some talking about our lives and travels, etc.
I can tell by looking at the pictures of the NP online for the office they will not be Julie….I dont want someone all business.
My last Dr Martha was like that. I had new insurance so had to find a new person and that was Julie. Martha is still working but she talked retirement when i was with her, she is my age and her own practice so probably best to stay with the “firm’
Nichole is the same with me Ardy, we talk more personal than anything. I have felt like she is a friend, someone I can trust and share my life with too.
I pray you get a good caregiver, I know it won’t be easy.💗

It is a crying shame and no warning, of course Dr Julie didnt have any warning either.
A shorter comment since my longer one was taken off for some unknown reason. It did not say ‘under review’ no idea why it was wiped out.
We are going to Holden to visit son Dennis and Danyell and GD charlotte today. It is a 2 hour drive each way so happy it is sunny and 77 degrees for the ride.

I had written that they said they will come tomorrow and it will be the last day, they will finish up. It will be good to have our peaceful life back here but they have been great, could not have asked for better workers and how good it looks.

Good morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. More of the same last night but did manage to get a bit of sleep but up at 5-30 again. No breeze at all to col things down a bit and a Red warning out for today and tomorrow, temp’s 100F today and up to 103F tomorrow, Then hopefully it will begin to get cooler into the weekend. Hundreds of schools have shut, no AC in schools but that might change if this weather pattern becomes the norm in future years. We could break an all time record temp today and tomorrow.… Read more »

Looks like you have hope for relief from these oppressively hot temperatures soon. 😏 We do not appreciate what we have sometimes until we lose it. So unusual for you to be so hot.

What a day! So humid; i was drowning. Was able to get Chuck out the door 30 mins earlier than usual; so we made good time. At the Kroger pick-up, the shopper had my stuff and another person’s in the big cart. i knew immediately some of it wasn’t mine. Chuck asked how i knew. I pulled his attention to the item that told me; a box of trojans.
