Good morning, A bit foggy this morning but the sun with clouds after the fog burns off. 62 going up to 76. Yesterday was rainy all day with some breaks in the afternoon. I did virtually nothing, did not even get out of my robe all day which I cannot remember the last time I did that! . We watched a movie with Robert Redford ‘ 3 days of the Condor’ and had Orville Redenbacher’s movie theater butter popcorn which was delicious. We both needed a really down day. Good Saturday morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. Another sticky night but the met red warning for extreme heat has been lifted at last. We will be in a cooler air stream from now on what a blessed relief. From tomorrow we will feel the big difference, not a lot of rain forecast though. That will be the next thing, with everything a bit parched we will be crying out for rain again. An utter relief today I can finally breath some cooler air.
We have not sat outside this year mainly because of a strong wind but hopefully with a change of direction will make it much more comfortable to sit out.😘

Good Morning! Light rain, and 72 going up to 89 with scattered showers and thunderstorms.
I am getting ready to go visit MIL-Joyce. She has a hanging basket of Boston Fern she wants to give to Craig and me. She also has some leftover small American flags to give me that she had used for a Sunday School party she recently hosted at her house. I will check the rest of the chat after I get back home.

It is raining lightly and will be off and on today. 62 going up 70.
Really happy no more up early to rush off now that the addition is finished. It has been a very busy 4 weeks, they started the last week of May. They did great work and were the nicest most polite guys.
Monday through yesterday we were off doing stuff to keep out of the way and so relieved we will relax a few days now.

Denny bought a big rug it covers the whole floor. Not a wildlife one that would match the decor here but could not find one in that style in that size.. We did not pay for a top floor to be laid. It is just a camp and we did not want the extra expense.
So just a cement floor? Nothing wrong with that, a rug works perfectly
No not cement, wood platform floor they laid on top of the foundation blocks with the addition. We just did not top that wood with the cedar boards we have inside the cabin on the floor.

Good Morning!!! Yesterday was another easy day for me. I did have to call Target to manage my Red card and they did it manually …..this is all related to the purchase i made and it was from our old /closed account so they can get their money. All done. We only had a 30% chance of rain and boom we got it. We were lucky because parts of town had downed trees and lost power. I dont think we got a lot of rain but it did come in waves while Rick was grilling burgers. Very warm and humid… Read more »
