Good morning, 59 going up to 81. We are going to be affected by the intense heat wave coming up the East coast starting mid-day tomorrow through Friday. Thankful we have A/C. Yesterday I had a late morning appt. to have a bone density test at the hospital in Damariscotta. Since we needed to do laundry soon we packed that up and went to the laundromat and to the bookstore cafe for a treat, then down to the hospital for the test. Good Morning Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. I thought it would be a cooler night but no it was still a humid time. So just sleeping under a Duvet cover again. Tried the whole Duvet at first but much too hot so back to just the cover. Far from cooling down the latest forecast is more of the same into next week in the upper 80F again and humid.🙄. Another 100-degree day, the humidity is down; a blessing and a curse. Higher humidity feels sticky but is good for fighting fires. The wildfire causing evacuations in Beulah, CO is only about 50 miles due east of here. We’re preparing for the possibility. This is the 1x i’ve ever been seriously concerned. DB/Rick’ll panic so i can’t even prepare him. Maybe the well-irrigated farmland between where the fire is now and us will help slow the fire’s relentless push to the east. Good Morning! Sunny, humid and 74 going up to 89. We’re in a weeklong heat wave with the temps expected to reach close to 100 by the end of the week 🥵 Craig’s benefits year runs from July 1st to June 30th each year. He still has 10 vacation hours that need to be used or he’ll lose them. Therefore, today he only has to work 2 hours and then he’ll be off on Tuesday the 30th. I am sorry you are not seeing hummingbirds. We have the female that has been coming lots of times daily and a male tries to sneak in and she dives for him. I wish they would share it.

Sunny all day 65 going up to 79.
Yesterday was beautiful, warm and sunny. We got the chairs into he new room and the bureau and the kitchen table inside.
Loving it so roomy now and it was so nice sitting at the kitchen table for supper last night and not eating off tv tables.

Good Morning Instead of regular Bible school that wasnt doing so good all these years later our “new” organist suggested Band camp. There were 45 kids from age four to 18 from our church and kids not from our church and 45 volunteers from our church to help. In five days they learned to play the ukulele and the bells and songs to sing. It is the second year and it is so much fun!!! The kids were so cute.
