Good morning, Today we will feel the heat wave that has been predicted. Today the hottest and tomorrow a little cooler and Sunday cooling to normal temperatures. Had such a nice visit with Barb yesterday. Breakfast was yummy and we came back and sat in the living room and visited a long while. We like to sit outside usually but the heat wave was moving in by noontime and so more comfortable here. Nothing going on right now…..I water plants feed pets and birds, do laundry and watch soaps :)

Sorry about the roadwork in your area. It’s very frustrating to deal with that when you need to drive somewhere 😕 Where we live it seems there are always some roadwork projects along the different routes I drive while running my errands. One will get completed and then another gets started somewhere 😐

Another 100-degree day 🔥 We’re still here, in our house; fire still raging. There is some improvement; it’s about 10% contained, not much, but more than any day since it started with the lightning strike. ⚡ “Fire Weather Warning” still up for our area. There was a checklist of items to gather posted by our local news on FB; i’m keeping it handy. I cannot thank you enough for all the prayers and good thoughts for our safety. Neither Chuck nor I have said anything to Rick yet.
