Yesterday was a relaxing day, did not leave the yard.
I sat outside under the canopy in the rocking chair and practiced some new crochet stitches.
Amber called and we talked near 2 hours.
It was a beautiful day outside.

A night under just the duvet cover a humid night but a bit more comfortable under just the cover.
No further news on the cool blanket yet ,hopefully will hear more this week sometime.
Will be hotting up from here with Thursday at 92F and Friday at 94F so they say.😓.

What is your duvet made from? Many years ago I had a feather filled duvet. The feather quills would poke through sometimes and I didn’t like it. It would poke through the duvet cover too. I haven’t had a duvet since, it was hard to put the cover back on after washing.
I like just a cool cotton sheet over me in hot weather.

Mine is called a “Baavet”.
It is a Welsh company who thought it a great waste of Sheep’s wool in this country, so they started to make Duvet’s stuffed with special treated sheep wool and they are so warm in the winter.
But even their thinest one which we have is too hot in a heat wave,😀😘
That sounds really nice and soft and warm. Best for cooler weather though it seems. 😉

Good Morning! Sunny and 82 going up to 95. Yesterday’s high was 101 before factoring in the heat index from the high humidity 🥵 For the 4th Craig and I stayed home and had a relaxing day rather than driving almost 3 hours one-way to West Jefferson in the mountains of North Carolina. His Aunt Lovenia has a second house there where she hosts an annual July 4th gathering for any family that can come.
