Good Morning! Sunny and 72 going up to 93 with an Air Quality Alert from 10 AM until 8 PM.
Given the poor air quality expected by 10 AM, I will be leaving soon to do my grocery shopping.
I think I’m finally caught up with my sleep after insomnia over the weekend. Yesterday I made a little more progress with my ongoing purging and reorganizing projects. When you accumulate stuff over your entire life it takes time to sort through and make decisions about everything 🙄

Good morning, We have the windows open ( we have screens on them ) and the slightly cool air is drifting in. I hear the birds singing all around us. Loving summer.🤗 Lunch out with my 3 sisters and sis Audrey’s best friend, Sherry, was so fun yesterday. Loved having us all together. We were at Applebee’s for 2 hours and the waitress was fun and nice and we were so relaxed. 💕 My sis Jackie was not there, she does not socialize with us anymore. Pity about your Sis Jackie why does she not have some modern hearing aid fitted.
Not being able to hear properly people then tend to become withdrawn because they cannot hear or converse with people.🙄
maybe she’s beyond a hearing aid, like my FIL..it barely helps at all

As I just wrote above to Ice she was beyond hearing aids and she had the cochlear implants which helped initially but one stopped and maybe the other has since we communicated with her.
Ice, Jackie has had hearing aids for years and it got so she could not hear with them so she had the Cochlear implants in both ears but then one stopped working and that was the last I knew.

Good morning Yesterday was cleaning day and I am not cleaning again before I leave for Minnesota ONE week from today. The house will need cleaning when i come back either way ……..I was hoping for more rain yesterday but, nothing. We had corned beef/cabbage for supper which will turn into Reuben’s for supper tonight. I ordered these shoes from Target and they came yesterday. It is the humidity that is the killer saps all your strength.
Up again at 5-00 this morning already 70F up to 85F today.

It seems that this is a lasting trend with the hot times spreading North which was always the cool part of the country.

Another hot day for us — at least our humidity/dew point is manageable — i feel so bad for those who have both heat AND humidity 🙏 Took me an hour to clean the stove this morning. i swear, if Chuck fries anything today, he’s cleaning it himself. i can’t even USE IT. I’m seriously thinking of replacing this gas range with a nice electric cooktop; at least i won’t have to clean it before i can use it. We just saw a beautiful mother deer and her baby, just as we opened the blind on the door looking out over the back yard. No picture did not want to move and scare her. She starred at us for a long time as she saw the blind open. She finally moved ahead and the baby did not move until she gave the signal. Such beautiful creatures.
I am meeting sisters Deena, Barb and Audrey for lunch at Applebee’s.

It is 430 am here – 75° with 84 %humidity and 80 dewpoint!!!! I had another day of this and that…..mostly taking it easy…lol
We had another Monsoon rain – came down pretty good. The hummingbirds love the rain too.
Wow Ardy, those are scary temperatures with the humidity and dew point at 80!
Poor animals/wildlife out in those elements.😌
