Hello…had iced coffee, watered flowers, washed some dishes…had ice cream for an early lunch (one fun thing about being an adult, you can have it for lunch, dinner, or both, lol )…will take the dogs for a short walk in a bit.

Yesterday I made banana bread with pecans and Rick made Reubens from the corned beef we had the night before.
They say we could get flood rain today so Tucson is on flood watch today/tomorrow.
Banana bread sounds good, love how good it smells coming out of the oven. 😘
I sure hope you will not get any flooding. That can be dangerous. 😌
The big storms they predicted for Maine on Tuesday did not happen. They stayed West to New Hampshire and Mass. which was okay with me.
I like banana bread but no nuts…zucchini bread, too.

Good morning, Sunny 68 going up to 79. I have that funny white block across the bottom of this screen everyday I am on here. A little annoying and no idea why I have it. Like the two white parallel lines on the cams when I try to take a picture they appear and disappear but when I try to take the picture without the lines they pop up as I take the picture. 🙄 Yesterday was nice to be outside, I did not do a lot just enjoyed a nice summer day reading and relaxin’. Rick bakes potatoes in the oven covered in olive oil and kosher salt….he doesnt cover them with foil.
What did you have with your potatoes?
I had bought a NY sirloin steak and marinated it overnight so it has good flavor. I only had a few bites I thought it was a little tough, I am not a fan of steak. I do like hamburger or a very tender filet mignon which are expensive.$$
I love a baked potato either in the oven or on the grill. Yum.😘
It seems steaks arent as good as they used to be in my opinion.

I have never had this white block on my screen maybe an Apple computer renders it different from Windows.😕
I have had it for a little while, it just started showing up. I remember Beryl saying she had the white strip below.
Many of us have had it at one time or another.
Maybe it will disappear when I get my new computer. 😀

Up at 5-30 again this morning after another sticky night, but it does look that we do have some relief coming from Sunday into next week with the temp dropping into the 70F range but still not a drop of rain in sight yet.
Will be off now for the paper while it is still a bit cooler, temp up to 85F today.

I can’t wait for a cool down now but I will have a couple of days to try the new cool blanket down.
I got the size somewhat right it hits the ground on three sides now so no slipping off the bed.lol.
Still no rain for at least he next fortnight, the Green outside is really browned off now not a green blade of grass to be seen.🙄😘

Hopefully by Sunday the temp could be down to 79F and dropping a little more after that.
Blanket has just arrived and I got the size just a tad too big.
