Well we had an exciting morning, if you want to call it that. I heard Rick get up around 11a; i could hear him behind me doing his routine. The next thing i heard was a small crash; he had fallen and couldn’t get up. I was screaming for Chuck to help me get him up. After getting him to the sofa, i called 9-1-1; Five EMTs were here in about 3 mins. Oh Pam I am so sorry that happened to Rick. So terribly scary and stressful for you and Chuck having to witness his fall. Thankful you were both there to comfort Rick. Sounds like he is coming around very well. Prayers for continued healing for him. 🙏

Thanks Kathy, it was certainly not anything we were expecting. He did say he was a little weak/dizzy yesterday. But he’s such a hypochondriac, it’s hard to tell what’s real. Chuck and i were both freaked. I do hope they keep him overnight; Chuck’s had a heckuva day; he’s still at the hospital.
Can Chuck request they keep Rick overnight?
Our little rural hospital is sending him to the full-size hospital in Pueblo tonight, Parkview

Chuck’s home, Rick’s being sent to the full-size hospital, Parkview, in Pueblo tonight. He really can’t stand on his own. They brought him a good meal, chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and fried okra that he had to eat with his left hand. Rick doesn’t have a cell phone & wouldn’t know how to use one if he did 😔
I’m so sorry that Rick can’t stand on his own. Being transferred to the full-size hospital in Pueblo is the best place for him right now. Sending prayers 🙏🏻❤️

I don’t think I told the story here? So at the party, I was in the kitchen getting pizza and chatting with a caregiver…turned around to go back in the living room and saw DS walking in!! I was sooo shocked! and shocked for awhile…so glad his grandpa remembered him!! and a couple people hadn’t met him yet but do follow him as a pro runner, like on FB. I’m in the waiting room right now with MIL-Joyce. Soon-ish it should be her turn to see the retina specialist who will administer the injections in both of her eyes for macular degeneration. These injections help to preserve her vision.

Good morning, Cloudy today with rain moving in over night which could be very heavy rain. 66 going up to 74 degrees. Went to the laundromat yesterday and then shopped at Reny’s a fun kind of everything store downtown. I got some exciting things like a mop pail and some Meyers cleaning product to mop floors. When we went to Brunswick last week Denny stopped by the apartment and the guys were working there. We will be getting everything settled in the apartment the first week of August but we will be staying mostly at camp through September into early October possibly.
That is good to have it ready to move into….do you have to buy new couches and beds?

Everything is going as planned. I packed my clothes yesterday. We got a nice rain last night, could get more today which could lead to flooding in the river beds.
This morning is coloring my hair and applying fingernails. I polished my toes blue yesterday. Oh The stress level is rising…..😫

No leaving Rick isnt stressful but…I get up really early so I let Roger in and out as he wants out….Rick will be sleeping but he may meow to wake him…lol

A sunny start to the day at 5-00 again and Pretzel day shopping in the next couple of hours.
Hope the old legs last out gets a problem in this hot weather makes them worse.
The one day I do not look forward to, always glad when I am loading the groceries into the car.lol.
But as long as I can put one foot in front of the other life goes on.
