What a difference last night no leg hanging out, really lovely cool night for a goodnights sleep at last This will be the trend next week back into the low 70F range with some showers around but no real rain yet.🙄. Hi Pam, not liking the rain but it saves me having to water my plants. Not giving up on the shorts though but the legs got a bit cold last night ! I am being eaten alive by insects and I am covered in bites that itch like hell ! 😮

Another 102 degree day; Ark Valley Fair is in full swing; today’s Kids’ Day, all the rides they can do for 1 price. Yesterday was Senior Day and lots of the residents from Pioneer went to the 6.45a breakfast. Lordy 🙄
Laundry done, dishes washed & stove cleaned. Chuck had a 9a meeting with the Director, he left here at 8.55a 😘 I’ll probably go over around 2.30-3p; so nice to just pop in 🤗
Good Morning! Another hot and humid day ahead. At 8:30 it’s sunny, humid and 76 going up to 96 with heat index 103 🥵 We all had a great time eating out at Hickory Tavern for Craig’s birthday dinner. The cake turned out pretty well (denser than I thought it would be). Craig, Lauren and I had a slice when we got back home. Hey Kathy — the cake looks perfect and dense tells me it turned out the way it’s supposed to 😋 We all get so used to a box mix, which is light, that when we use actual flour/sugar, it’s a surprise 😊
