I just finished in the kitchen. I pounded chicken breast to equal thickness and made a marinade for them to sit in until we BBQ them tonight. I made a spiral pasta salad and cut up veggies and cheese for it. Kitchen all cleaned up and little work tonight getting our supper made. Feels good to get ahead sometimes. Before that I color refreshed my hair and showered so a full morning and now a beautiful day to relax and read a bit outside. 📚📗
Good Morning! We had a very strong thunderstorm with gusty winds come through around midnight that woke me up (Craig and Lauren slept through it). The storm caused a large branch to break off from our tallest Maple tree which landed in the front yard of our next door neighbors. Thankfully no one was injured and no property was damaged. Going to be a beautiful day 66 going up to 80, sunny.
Denny is going to the Owls Head Transportation Museum to a car auction. He loves those but I like him to go alone and talk with like minded people. They have food vendors and lots of things going on. After his dad retired he volunteered at the museum and he and his twin brother built a glider I think they still have displayed there.
I am going to be outside enjoying this beautiful summer day, I have 2 new books.😊

Yesterday morning I made banana bread. This morning I am making an angel food cake for Rick’s birthday tomorrow.
I took a chance on ordering a used teal purse from a company called ThredUp. I didnt realize it was leather until it came yesterday.
It was a Cole Haan purse which meant nothing to me but found out they are expensive, starting at $220 and up. I got free shipping being a first time customer so I only paid $32….a bargain for me.

Good morning, sky can’t make up its mind whether to be sunny or cloudy but no rain yet ! Lovely to get into bed without the fan on full blast and not waking up needing a shower. I bought some small Wallflowers that I put in a long container and its really nice to open the door and see the different colours looking back at me ! Hi Jenn, all different bright colours, I liked them so much that I ordered 6 more but they sent Dianthus instead but I don’t like them but I put them in anyway but I am going to dig them up as I just don’t like them but the guy gave me my money back so I’m smiling !
