Went over to Pioneer, the nursing facility around lunchtime; Rick had coffee and a chocolate donut for b-fast, then they brought him an Ensure; he drank all of that. We brought him a piece of chocolate cake to celebrate his 75th b-day. He got a shower & was pretty much wiped out afterwards and slept the rest of the day. Good Morning! Cloudy and 68 going up to 88 with afternoon thunderstorms possible. Yesterday I dropped off more donation items at Matthews Help Center. It feels good to be making more progress in purging items I/we no longer use, need or love. Today I need to go grocery shopping today and pay a few bills. Last evening I used the air fryer to bake a large 14 oz potato. It turned out so good with a crispy skin and the inside was nice and fluffy. I only added butter and sour cream. Did you oil the skin?
No I didn’t. I know that’s an option but I chose not to. However, Craig likes to oil and salt the skin when he does an air fryer baked potato.

I was thinking of baking potatoes in my air fryer. I have only made French Fries. Now I will have to give it a go. How long did you bake yours?
It honestly can make you feel lighter giving away items that we are not using or using much.

My large 14 oz potato took about 60 minutes at 400° (some guidelines call for 390°). I think medium potatoes are done in about 45 minutes. Make sure you turn them over halfway through cooking.

Good morning, Sunny and 63 going up to 81. It is so good to have my laptop back, I missed it and won’t go again without it. We went to Freeport to celebrate our anniversary yesterday and for the first time we went to Linda Beans Maine Restaurant. Linda Bean was a granddaughter to LLBean founder. Thank you Ardy.♥ Denny had a good appointment, he liked this doctor. It was for his Inspire, it has been a long road since his surgery in 2023 with ups and downs. He did get a good doctor in S. Carolina last winter who was able to get him on the right ‘number’ to have it on when sleeping. This doctor was a referral from the VA he is a a civilian doctor but since the Veterans Administration does not have a doctor in that field they refer patients to civilian docs. I cleaned and did laundry yesterday…..108° yesterday and no end in sight right now.
Most of the day was consumed watching TV and hearing about Dolly. It was so unexpected even though
I had been hearing she was sick but…..had no idea just how sick. RIP Dolly 💔

A yellow warning is out today for severe thunder storms and heavy rain and we are just on the edge of the yellow area.
Although they do say the chances are low in my area.
A pity because we badly need a good downpour now.

I so hope you will not get severe thunder storms. I just saw a picture of a young woman who was caught in a sudden hail storm, she knelt over to protect her baby and her body was covered with terrible bruises.
