Hello…my sister left yesterday…we went for a walk around town, got some food and drinks and sat in the park before she left. Last night I watched the eclipse, it was so pretty…I could see it really well from my dining room windows once it was high enough. This morning I walked with a neighbor/friend and now I’m trying to perk up, sipping an iced coffee, vanilly creme brulee flavor. Almost lunch time..

Good morning, 69 going up to 80 today. Gabe and family are coming to visit us today. We are going to meet them at the apartment. They have such busy schedules including Isabel who worked weekends this summer. Gabe’s birthday was on the 21st and they were in NYC for 3 days as a birthday present for Isabel, who is turning 19 on September 2nd. We only have had one visit with them here, it was a Saturday in late June. We did go visit them for a supper in July. The summer is going so fast.
Summer always goes too fast for me.

This is kind of funny. I had just gotten in bed and Rick came back to tell me that the moon was doing something weird and I should come look. So I looked out and I saw this Crescent shaped orange thing and I thought it was the moon but then it started jumping around and I said to Rick the moon wouldn’t do that Sew with my camera I zoomed in and it was a Dove. It was pretty funny
That is funny Ardy, the dove fooled both of you. 😉
It was very windy and you can see the Dove is kind of orangish from the sun. The Dove was trying to hang on…lol
I can see how it would have looked like the moon. A funny story though.😄
I laughed at Rick and he did too when i zoomed in…..just the way he said the moon is doing something weird….lol

Good morning I met my friend for Chinese lunch yesterday. I have to admit she isnt the easiest person to be around. I was early and there was a younger girl standing in the parking lot where the cars come in and out to the street. It was 107° and she had an umbrella and sign. Up again at 5-00 beautiful sunny morning and a promise of some showers today but i am not holding my breath. I have noticed some leaves dropping already and some trees starting to change color on the trees. We have been dry since July and through August and it will be an early season for foliage colors I think.🍁
I wonder if you will be able to sleep in longer when the days get shorter? Then there will be the time change. We are waiting to find out in this country if they will stop the time change. I hope so.

There is a high wind right now and even my Wisteria is shedding leaves in this wind.
