Good Morning! At 11:40 AM it’s cloudy and 76 going up to 85. A few afternoon thunderstorms are possible but I don’t think they’re expected to be severe. I didn’t get up this morning until almost 8:30. It felt so good to sleep in so late. The kitties weren’t happy about that though, lol. They were more than ready to eat breakfast since we don’t ever leave kibble out for them overnight. Craig has 2 college sports announcing to do today. I took it easy yesterday because I had injured my knee, still sore this morning.
Watched the Fever play and they won by 20 points.
Rick made walleye fish tacos. He went to Frys and Sprouts for a ripe mango. He ended up with Mango already cut that was on the harder side and no juice so the mango salsa was not that good.
I am going to Walmart early this morning. I go weekly and havent been there for three weeks.

I find under ripe fruit is about all the sell in the grocery stores. I bought a watermelon yesterday and cut it up it was so weird, half of the inside was white had not ripened. I read make sure there is a yellow patch on the melon to see it has ripened and wide stripes. Nothing seems to make a difference. Peaches rock hard when they finally soften to eat them they are rotting inside. Only good food now is at the farm stands.

Rick bought peaches to make this salad that was made on a morning show and i doubt they will ripen and be juicy

We had a great time with family yesterday. They arrived at 4pm and stayed until 7:30. We got pizza’s and I bought a cake to share for Gabe and Isabel’s birthday. Denny got a bookshelf almost put together and I more organizing. It is a pretty sunny morning outside.

She is great, excited and nervous about getting back to college. She and her boyfriend, Devin, are going to a concert this weekend in Boston then she comes back and they take her to start college.
Does he go to school too?
He goes to a different college in Boston also. He wants to be a doctor someday but financially he will have to go 4 years majoring in Biology and probably work in that field awhile to afford further college. It is a distance from her school.

They do and she is just turning 19 he is a year older, going into his junior year and Isabel her second. We met him at their house this summer he is a very polite nice guy.

Good Evening! There was the possibility of severe weather today. Because of that I needed to run a number of errands this morning and into the afternoon. The warning came around 5:00 PM with the storm expected to reach our house by 5:40 PM. Thankfully it fizzled out before it reached our neighborhood. Yesterday I used the air fryer again to bake a 13+ oz potato. This time I reduced the temp to 390° (in lieu of 400°) for 60 minutes and I liked the cooked skin better than when I cooked it at 400°.
