Good morning, Cool this morning, 53 with 74 high today. Starting to get that autumn feel. We had such a good time at Pemaquid Lighthouse yesterday. It was just a perfect day with a very cool breeze off the ocean. I was getting a picture of the woman at the table below us with 2 dogs but the main focus looks like my sandwich. That sounds good. And you’re right about sandwiches tasting better when you’re eating them outdoors. During covid, Rick and I went a couple of places and took a sack lunch and sat on the picnic tables ate. It was kind of fun

Since your place in Brunswick is a rental, did Denny have to get approval for changing out the toilet?
He told Seth ( who is a super nice guy and the head manager ) and no problem at all. Denny said I have two fake knees and that toilet is the size of a childs. Seth said do what you want it’s your home. They will replace a refrigerator or stove if it isn’t working but other stuff is up the the renter. They are very relaxed about those things. You can have up to 2 pets ( for an montly increase )

Good Morning! Following a low overnight of 71 today will be hot with a high of 96 and a heat index around 100 🥵 I never got to the grocery store yesterday so I have to go today. My plan is to go this morning after I finish eating breakfast. I don’t know if I mentioned it but weeks ago I thought I had killed the potted Begonias in the hanging planters. Hello!!! Our thunderstorm let up around 6:00 am yesterday. I even trimmed Nikki and gave her a bath since the sun came out. It was cool after the rain but very tropical after the sun came out. Then it looked stormy out around 9:00 am and it started in again…the rains were quite heavy. We ended up with an inch of rain. The garden, plants and the ground loved the rain too. Good morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. A cool night and a cool morning just 50F at 7-00 could reach 71F later wirh the odd shower. It is that day once again Pretzel day is here again.lol. Temp will be up to 74F this week for most of the week so quite pleasant light winds as well. The water Butts are full to the brim now so I can keep the bird baths topped up rather than use mains water. Hi ice, I have to say I put my heating on for a while in the evening as I feel the cold ! Its funny weather as the sky suddenly goes black and then it changes to blue so never quite sure if its going to pour or be sunny ! Not a good weekend for those looking for sunshine ! Our new Lidl is just up the road and is huge I so wish they were online as they seem to have a lot of different things that the others don’t have but maybe in time it will happen… Read more »

Had trouble with my breathing last night had tio get up and sit in a chair to draw a breath.
It was a bit frightening not being able to take a deep breath.
Managed to get around Lidl’s but breathing is still a bit on the tight side.
Inhaler helped a little so I hope I can breath in bed tonight.lol.😀😘
That is scary Ice, so sorry you had that experience. Should you report it to your caregivers? They might change your inhaler use?

Another 100-degree day 😟 Rick’s about the same, he got a shower and had a double-scoop dish of ice cream, 1 vanilla/1 chocolate, with whipped cream. He really enjoyed both shower and the food 😋 Chuck/Kitty went over about 9.30; Chuck is planning to ask them to pour the Ensure over ice, Rick is not fond of hot drinks, including coffee 😏 I’ll go later. The staff are very aware that our guy is well-loved. 💗

We always kept Ensure in the fridge since our Daddy didn’t like to drink it warm. We did the same with Mama’s Boost High Protein Shakes.
