Update………..I got a call from my medical office yesterday morning and my new NP approved the referral and sent it in. So I called assured imaging, had to leave a message like the day before and they never called me back. Monday they did call me back. I want to see if i can get in sooner.

Hi Ardy, I understand you wanting to get seen as soon as possible as I guess your mind is thinking about all that could be the reason you are called back but it could be something so simple just have to think positive, easy to say but not to do ! 🤔

Good morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. No breathing problems last night just my normal COPD breathing. It was quite frightening at the time and I used to be a smoker but gave up 43years ago. But it still leaves its mark and there is chestiness in the Parkin family history. I had been trying some Mullien tea which is said to loosen mucus and supports the recovery of lung tissue. I left it alone yesterday and drinking three mugs of the stuff, quite a bitter taste. Might have had nothing to do with that breathing episode but rather… Read more »

Hi ice, glad your breathing is better today, COPD not something to mess with so I hope you let your Dr know. Nathan and Emma’s Dad suffered from that but he was a heavy smoker, anything went into the rollups ! Gosh that tea sounds awful but if it helps you…………Drink it, lol ! It says rain coming in 2 hours can’t wait for that, NOT ! Workmen at it early this morning and I thought for a moment I was going to loose it as I wasn’t feeling well and that drill going nice and loud was just too… Read more »

Hi Beryl.
Just started to rain here now just some light stuff.
I think that tea might have had something to do with my breathing problem so I will not be drinking it again.
What Glenda and myself are drinking is Hibiscus tea said to help blood pressure and it has certainly helped ours.
Mine was on the high side even with tablets but it has dropped right back now although I am still taking the tablets as well.
Hope those workmen soon finish and give you some quiet and peace.😘

I might give it a try as my BP is higher than it should be even with the pill, nurse always wanting to up the dose but I am sticking to what I have. I often think that its making the pharmaceutical companies rich rather than making us well !

Hi Ice,
Very happy to hear you did not have breathing issues last night.🤗
That tea sounds interesting. I often think some of the olden day treatments were possibly better than modern ones.

Hi Jenn.
I just hope that was a one off time.
The Hibiscus tea has dropped my BP back to what they call normal.
I always had one of the readings on the high side regardless of taking the tablets.
Been drinking this tea for a few weeks now and daily readings are way down from where they normally are.
So I am happy that this tea is having a positive affect on my BP.😀😘

That is interesting with you B/P and Hibiscus tea. Do you like that or was the other tea you mentioned bitter?

Hi Jenn,
The Hibiscus tea has fruity taste which is quite pleasant it is the Mullien tea I think made me breathless.
I will not be drinking that again.😘

Lovely photos posted below 💖
Jenn, nice you’re getting a new toilet; those ‘low-to-the-ground’ seats should’ve been outlawed years ago! 🚽
Kathy, the Begonias look pretty good, that you didn’t mur-der them with the fertilizer🙄
Beryl, nice to see the NC Deer cam has returned for your viewing pleasure 🦄
Ardyth, you have such an adorable fur family

OMG Ice, hope you were able to contact your Surgery; breathing is not to be trifled with — it’s pretty much necessary 🙏😄 And congrats on the refilled water butts 💦

I called my Drs office and as i suspected I have to see my new Dr to get a referral…..not looking forward to that because I wish Julie was still there!!! I cant get in until Sept. 17

Kathy S

So you have to wait to see your new doctor on Sep 17 before you can get a referral for the Sonogram?
