Our morning temperatures this week are really much cooler. Seems to happen overnight but that is Maine for you. It warms up with the sun but our highs are mid-60’s and lows in 40’s ahead for us.
We had a restful Sunday and the Shepherds pie was very yummy.
I like these flowers painted on the fences.

Yes hamburger and I make a gravy to mix in it then veggies. I like carrots and corn and green beans then lots of mashed potato on top and bake to a golden brown on the potato. Have leftovers for tonight.
What is your recipe for the gravy?
I melt butter and add equal amount of flour as butter ( for one cup I use 2 Tablespoons of each ) after the flour mixes in the butter I add boxed beef broth. I like Swanson’s. Also salt and pepper.

I love shepherds pie but you don’t make it with lamb do you which actually makes it a cottage pie over here , its such a comfort meal !

Good morning. Yesterday was church and my friend Harriet came too so we talked in the parking lot afterwards. Then I came home, did a load of laundry and watched the Fever play and lose…then watched the KC Chiefs game, got to see Taylor ♥ I went to bed at half time. We are now giving Nikki her meds at 10am/10pm since she wasnt taking them for me….I guess she wasnt hungry in the morning. Good morning, I can’t believe how fast I am getting through books, I ordered loads and when checking for a new read I see I had read them all ! Thank goodness for Awesome books I now have 5 coming my way. I have a Nicholas Sparks one on the go and for the first time since his first one came out years ago I can’t get into it ” Counting miracles” and he stays on a subject too long making it boring, I think his writing changed when his marriage broke up sadly ! I have been out weeding this morning garden gone berserk with weeds.
The Wisteria has gone mad this year with shoots sprouting all over the trunk of the tree massive growth everywhere on that tree.
Been chopping a few branches off but soon ran out of puff.😀😘

A cold sunny morning just 47F this morning.
A high if 73F later so very comfortable outside today with a light wind.
Even been out early to pull up a few weeds that are now becoming a problem.
A heavy dew on the Green this morning glistening in the sunshine.
All the week we will be in the 70F range so pretty good for the time of year.

Hi ice, Sunday is just like any other day lonely and boring but Mark sent me a video of under the sea in Greece and I thought they were filming under the water which was so clear but they were cheating, lol ! Brightened up the day a bit !

Easy to pullout but there are so many of them now I gave up in the end.
Will have to get a gardener in one day soon.
Around 3-00 in the morning I seem to be wheezing so puffer is not lasting me the 24 hours like it should.😘
Its a lot of work when there are too many weeds.

Very comfortable outdoors today.
Even provoked me to do some badly needed weeding but I soon ran out of puff.lol.
But the rest of the week will be similar so I might have another go tomorrow.😀😘
Take it easy with weeding Ice, it can be tough pulling some of them out! We have some tall wild flowers here and trying to pull them out is wild! 😀

Just got some weed killer I will try tomorrow on the stubborn ones.
I use vinegar in a spray bottle that is about it for weed killer. It works on grasses growing up on walkways I have found.
Never tried that Jenn must give it a try.
It works well and not poisonous to birds and good bugs so I always go with that.
