I am sitting here with Roger pacing back and forth wanting to go out at 4:30 AM………NO!!! It is still dark. He is so hard to keep in.
I saw a bat or two but only got one blurred picture.
Rick made an apple pie yesterday.
We had a beautiful big Cooper’s Hawk hanging around yesterday.

They will be around til the end of Oct. The first night there were a few and now seems like just a couple….

Good morning, I just opened the big window curtains in the living room and the sun looks so pretty all across the tree tops. We went to the camp yesterday and packed up all the food in the pantry and in the refrigerator and turned it off. We packed up clothes and that was a full load to bring back. I have deep cleaning to do so took up the Shark wet mop and bought new mop pads to clean all the wood floors. Need to scour the shower and sinks and wash down the refrigerator and dust. Yes, exactly the same Ardy. I stopped at Walmart to buy new steamer pads and it was $24+ for a box of 2 pads. I am going to work on sewing up some pads possibly.
I bought mine cheaper last time online. It says to use 6 months so I do.

Sunny periods today with a high of 74F so very pleasant once again.
Up at the crack of dawn again getting used to these early mornings now.lol.
That might change when the clocks fall back,At least I miss the traffic at this time in the morning.

A lovely sunny day for sure light wind tried to do a bit more weeding, that did not last very long.lol.
I wish they would leave the clocks alone here, they are always talking about it but nothing ever happens.🙄😘
A little weeding a day can make a good difference after awhile. I used to weed all my flower beds and garden beds in the Fall. Those were the good old days bending and pulling weeds came easy…lol
We were so close with Congress voting to stop it but it hung up in the Senate. UGH! I would be in favor of it ending it is weird changing the clocks back and forth.
I hope you fall lucky with congress and they do the right thing at last😗
but then we wouldn’t have those long summer days..to me it’s worth it to have those…I don’t know why people would want them to end..

Good Morning! Cloudy and 75 going up to 86. Yesterday Craig and I enjoyed our time at MapleWalk Garden. It’s a privately owned residential woodland garden located in Charlotte and less than a 20 minute drive for us to get there. We didn’t even know this garden that’s open to the public existed until we saw it featured by one of our gardening YouTube channels a few months ago.
