Hello…yesterday we went to the farmer’s market..got zucchini frittata, a chai scone, and a few tomatoes…also went to a sale (didn’t buy anything) and can’t remember where else..last night we stopped by FIL’s..I chatted with the caregiver while DH explained to his dad why he wouldn’t be there at night..he left around 4 something a.m. to go volunteer at a marathon, does this every year..hoping he’s not too tired later..should be home mid afternoon and I’m hoping late afternoon we can go for a dog walk and/ or ice cream…it’s in the 70s today, very nice.

Craig slept out in our den overnight in an upright position. He sounds gruff and is coughing a little bit. At this point Craig will probably take a sick day tomorrow.
After I finish eating my breakfast I plan to change the sheets on our bed.

Good morning! We had a fun time at the concert last night. We didnt realize it was a benefit concert. First we ate at the sisters restaurant. It is named Sisters because The restaurant’s name honors the women who tended the grounds and cared for the space over the years, carrying on their welcoming spirit into the neighborhood’s modern community life. We had slices of pizza and I was lucky enough to get a free margarita soft serve dessert.My friend, Kurt, made this sign for the restaurant and had to make it look like the original sign. The dessert was very tasty.
This was kind of interesting, the ocean holds so many treasures. Today’s nor’easter uncovered a shipwreck believed to be the Warren Sawyer, a 19th century coastal schooner that wrecked off Nantucket’s south shore on December 22, 1884. The ship was hauling 1,115 bales of cotton and 28 tons of scrap iron on a run from New Orleans to Boston when it got blown off course by gale force winds and went down near Miacomet Beach. Good morning, We have very light rain and the leaves are gently moving on the trees. This is a slow moving storm and very mild for us. Possible 1/2 rain today and tonight. It will linger into Tuesday morning but I do not see a big heavy rainfall that was predicted. Denny and I took 2 walks all around yesterday, the wind was blowing and it was so warm out that it was hard to stay inside. A cool and cloudy start to the day still got the house lights on at 7-30.
Looks like we might have some rain this afternoon would be most welcome.
Waiting until it gets a bit lighter then get the old girl out to fill her tank with some expensive fuel.

Got up late, well, late or me; woke at 7a to go to the loo; almost stayed up, then thought, just a few more mins; which turned out to be almost 2 more hours 🙄 Made it to 86 again today, supposed to be the same tomo — so tired of this heat.
