Roger is feeling better and we let him out yesterday morning. He came back in and slept in the closet. Rick cant control two cats when we give Nikki her meds outside, sounds weird but she eats outside too …lol So of course the cats got out and Roger was out until 2am and now he wants out again so he is scratching near the couch, keeping him in isnt going to work!
I had a feeling you would not be able to keep him in. 😔

Hi Ardyth, Roger has you in a catch-22; you want him healthy, and in the house at night; the better he feels, the more he wants out so he can fight some more; the little brat 🙄

Like Beryl I am feeling my age too. We got home at 11:15 from the concert and in bed by midnight but I skipped church.
I took it easy yesterday…..if you call washing clothes, blankets and couch covers taking it easy. I watched the Fever lose and watched the MTV awards to see Taylor.

Good morning, We had steady light rain yesterday and it is supposed to continue until tomorrow. I made pie crusts yesterday and used pie filling I had made and frozen in July, from fresh picked blueberries. I just warmed up the filling and decided to use just one crust it was not full enough for 2 crusts.. Denny tossed pieces of crust on top of it, it looked messy but was delicious.😘 I repaired a long sleeve shirt of Denny’s and we had a quiet peaceful Sunday. We are getting much needed rain, it is slow and steady which is best. Another day and night of rain so it should be a good amount in the end.
Pie was delicious, Denny ran out to get some ice cream to go with it.😀

Jenn, sounds like a very nice day indeed; can’t go wrong with pie, no matter how it looks. My mother’ pie crusts always looked like something a cat dragged in; but boy they sure tasted good.
Good morning, like ice feeling very Autumn but the heat is still there when the sun is out !
Feeling my age and not ready to get the mower out or do anything much just tired, I think probably nowhere to get rid of all the stuff in my head so it just sits there and festers !
Just had a nice chat to my window cleaner who is such a nice man, lifts the mood somewhat !
Some nice Deer on one of my Deer sites, next will be Brownville I guess , love that ! 🤗

Such a sweet picture of the deer. They are so pretty and such fun to watch on the cams. Hard to believe it is getting closer to Brownville deer time again.
That is nice you had a conversation with the nice man who cleans windows. Is that a free service? Does he do all the windows?
Wish it was free Jenn its £10 and he uses a special water can’t remember the name and sprays from the ground with a hose, so no ladder climbing like the old days ! 🙂

At my age with all my back pains i wish i could hire someone to wash our windows but then it rains and a waste of money :(

A thick fog this morning and just 45F.
The bungalows across the Green have disappeared in the fog.
But the sun will soon burn it of later this morning, a high of 68F today and still no rain.🙄.

A real Autumnal feel to the weather this week, might get some showers later in the week.
A foggy trip for the paper this morning, headlights on all the traffic this morning.

I had to put a thicker cardigan on this morning so chilly, but the fog has lifted now and we have some sunshine at last. I had a little chuckle to myself writing that post, only a few weeks ago I was melting in a heat wave.lol.😀😘
