Good morning, I went to Walmart yesterday for some groceries and walked in through the gardening area end, which is how I always come in I like parking on that far end. They had all Christmas stuff marked down mostly half off. I was not looking to buy anything but walking through I noticed saw a Martha on Mantle and had to laugh. I liked it and wish I got it now. I got the decorations put away except for the tree, it can stay another week or so…..I hope to pick a day when it warms up to sort through my decorations….I doubt I will get rid of many …….even though some never come out any longer. Rick put his bew rain gauge I gave him in the ground just in time as we has a light rain last night.
I do not like putting away the pretty tree and decorations. Not until after New Years for sure. We have a big tree and when I come out in the morning I turn it on because it is still dark out. I love the lights.
How much did Rick register on his new rain gauge?
Once its over I have to put it away except for the tree….the house feels cluttered to me.

My only decorations this year are the small ceramic vintage Christmas tree I brought 2 years ago at Hobby Lobby and our stockings. It will be very easy for me to “put away Christmas” this year.

A lovely sunny morning but still with that NE wind gusting once again to 35mph.
Outlook is the same for most of next week but it is staying dry for that time.Very light traffic through town today but I expect the bargain hunters will be out in force later with the sales that have started.🙄.
A few more savoury biscuits with a nice cup of coffee is now on the cards.lol.

We went to the movie, Anaconda. I forget to take my meds in the morning so i had a REALLY hard time sitting still, it was awful!!!!
Then we picked up Chinese food and ate at home.
Christmas is over for me so I am putting things away and trying to get rid of a few knick knacks like my lava lamp which never worked right and dangerous to have with Michi…..you never know about her!
Chinese food sounds good. We have so many leftovers in the fridge right now. I’m leaving my decorations up a long time, as usual..the longest has been mid or late February, lol..
I have to get back to “normal” ….I love Christmas decorations for a short time but it feels cluttered after awhile…..

Good morning, 54 going up to 65, sun with clouds. We had a very fun Facetime call yesterday. Gabe called us then he connected Amber which was great. We had many laughs and talked over a half hour. Earlier in the morning Dennis, Danyell and Charlotte called us Facetime which was fun also. A few years ago Denny gave Dennis the Christmas bells he always played when they were growing up.
