Good Boxing Day morning.

A cloudy and cold day ahead with that bitter NE wind gusting to 25mph at times.
No sunshine on offer today. Traffic in town was virtually nil apart from me and a couple more driving through town.
All shops are closed today getting ready for the start of the sales on Saturday.
Paper in and now time for coffee and to sample some savoury biscuits a Christmas present from NO2 son.

It is a bitterly cold wind but certainly not in Gabe’s ball park.
Blimey that is so cold hope it let’s up for them a bit.
LA terrible storms and floods there also.

My son Gabe’s driveway yesterday morning. They got 18″ of snow!! After hours cleaning up outside he came in and their kitty knocked over the Christmas tree!
He said they are ‘about a 70’ on the Hello Kitty snow index! She is just showing her head after the snow.

Right Pam, a toss up but I think the shoveling and snow blowing with a funky working snow blower was worse.

Yesterday got very warm, I enjoyed some time outside on the porch. Today will be low 70’s again with sun.
I made the apple galette and we couldn’t wait until today so we had some with vanilla ice cream Denny picked up.😘

Christmas Eve was very nice. The MN hamburger hotdish turned out great. I got lots of nice presents, one was a mini Keurig and Michi entertained us in the wrapping paper.
It just started raining again. We are going to a movie and then Chinese food.
I enjoyed all your pictures from FB Ardy, looks like you had a really nice time with your sister joining you.
I have never had a Keurig but have used them at others homes.

I have never wanted a Keurig but when i was in CA. I tried Jolene’s Chai tea lattes that Raelene suggested to me and then she said Jolene topped it off with whipped cream……so then I wanted one.
