I went to church yesterday and then to the Dollar tree.
Then Lynn came over and we met Ricks step family for chinese food at the new place around the corner from us where we got take out on Xmas day. Everyone loved their food.
Looks lovely, I love Chinese food but get little chance to get any !

Good Monday morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy Lynn, Pam. A cloudy start to the day a high of 45F. Still have a Yellow Warning out for heavy rain again this afternoon and into tomorrow. But we have lighter winds today after that storm “Ingrid”. Awesome sights yesterday on the power of the sea in a storm nothing seems to stand in its way. Part of the seawall at Dawlish was destroyed again, but just a smaller section this time. Spring seems a long way away in this sort of weather outlook. Thank you, we were fine after all, no freezing rain. So thankful.
It seems like there are storms everywhere, it is a really tough winter for so many. Maine is getting it bad right now, started overnight and still going to snow all day today. ☃

Thank you Ice ❤️ We were very fortunate and really dodged a bullet this time. We only got a little bit of freezing rain during the final hour of Winter Storm Fern. The icy road conditions resulted in Craig’s work being closed today. He will be notified later this afternoon as to the decision about tomorrow.

UPDATE on our weather…
Winter Storm Fern was out of our here by around 7:25 PM this evening. Thankfully the forecast was wrong about our area (I love it when a scary forecast proves to be wrong). We never got a significant amount of ice accumulation and so far have not lost power. The accumulation of mainly sleet on the streets is the concern for everyone now. Driving will be treacherous on Monday so the school where Craig works will be closed because of the conditions.

We are good Ardy, thank you.💛 We will have just rain all night but the temperature has risen and will be 50 overnight so no ice. I did see on the phone app lightening overnight with the rain but hope not. But nothing compared to what many are going through. I hope we hear from Kathy, I came by to see if she had been back.🙏
