Good Morning! It’s 8:25 AM and the temp outside is 19 (feels 7) with a wintry mix. At 7:30 this morning we already had a coating of sleet as you can see by my screenshots. Our precipitation didn’t start until around 5:00 AM. The prediction is for it to get worse this afternoon when it switches over to freezing rain with the potential for significant icing. This is the dangerous portion of the storm since it could cause widespread power outages. Thankfully we still have power but that could change. I’m eating my hot breakfast now. I wish we had a garage but most houses in our neighborhood don’t have them.
Our neighborhood is older, houses built in 1959 and none have garages either. Most have carports and some of them dont.

Good morning, Wow, we have dogged the bullet for freezing rain, we will have just rain starting around 5pm today and ending around 5am Monday morning. I am so relieved we are not getting freezing rain that could be so damaging. I am praying for the safety of all who are getting terrible weather and have Kathy very much on my mind.🙏 Praying for all who will be losing power and cold in their homes and loss of refrigerated food. Our overnight temperatures stay around 59 degrees. This warmer weather where we are bordering Myrtle Beach is the warmest and so no ice. So thankful. We will drop back to colder temperatures into the week but thankful for the warming right now.

We sure didnt get the 1″ of rain predicted. It was kind of disappointing.
I colored my hair and watched TV and enjoyed watching the our Wildcats 🏀🏀game. They won and now we are 20 wins and 0 losses.

Woke to snow and 3 degrees; at least there’s no wind and i guess 3 is pretty good compared to what some of the country is going thru.🙏 It did get to plus 12 around 3.30p; now it’s starting to drop again. Did a load of laundry and when i set the dryer, put the wrong temp on. When trying to reset it; i didn’t know it wouldn’t take; so after 40 mins, the clothes were still too damp to hang & it’s so cold … UGH.
