Osprey Nest Cam – LoLo, MT
Your watching a live video cam of wild Osprey named Swoop and Winnie. Swoop returned for the nesting season with a new mate(2024). Harriet was his previous mate.
The nest is located 45 feet off the ground on the top of a pole. Nesting season is from April to Early August. After the Osprey leave for migration the ranch owners install a bird feeder station on the nest perch.
You will see all kinds of birds including raptors, geese, squirrels and more. The feeder station comes down in spring right before the osprey are about to return.
The babies look so beautiful. Can’t believe how fast they grew. Soon they will leave the nest.

Winnie was feeding one of the chicks when Swoop decided that he was hungry and wanted the fish back.
They had a tug-of-fish and Swoop flew away with the fish.
Winnie was upset and was calling and calling for fish
Swoop decided to bring the fish back, and then all was well at the nest once again.

It’s amazing how they don’t grow tired of eating the same kind of food every day. At least eagles have some variety.
They barely fit under the mom now.
