Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good afternoon…farmer’s market today..all I bought was corn relish and an oatmeal cookie..I chatted with a few people also. We had to get some things at Aldi’s for us and his dad..then drop them off..the really chatty caregiver was there and i was talking with her but I knew DH wanted to leave, he has a burial now. I’m hoping we can watch Bane play in the sprinkler before the music in the park…there is one more left in mid September, a makeup one..it had been postponed because of rain.
Afternoon Lynn raining up here today, hope they are able to fit the music in. Music on a nice fall evening would be nice too the smell of leaves in the air😂 I can’t believe I said that word Fall🍁 its coming fast as it is I don’t need to rush it🙄

Corn relish you eat on the side, I have never put it on anything, interesting to see what Lynn says? its like eating pickles on the side or pickled beets that sort of thing😋

I’m home. The farmer’s market didn’t have much. I bought just okra, green beans and a couple onions. They sold out of red tomatoes. There was a man across the street, not part of the market who did have tomatoes. Then I went to Walmart and bought more than I thought I would.
Did you get tomatoes from the man? you did a lot today😍how do you cook your Okra? I mostly eat pickled okra never fresh
Yes I got r tomatoes. I roast the okra with olive oil, salt, garlic powder. That takes away the slimy. Cook until it starts to turn brown.
Okra is slimy I freaked out the first time I cooked it so much slime
That is why I roast it. No slime and delicious.
Frying it also makes it unslimy 😅 I love it. I have to go get some soon.

Good morning!! The side of my knee is better but this morning both of my knees – mostly in the back really hurt and so does my lower back. I can hardly walk!!!
But I still managed to get ready early and go to WM!!

Yummy pumpkin coffee😋 its great you split the shopping, you do the cleaning so getting cleaning supplies you need makes sense😘 yes the muscles was caused by the stool, your muscles worked doing something you don’t normally do and caused them to be strained. it was probably the height of the stool being so low. Its hard getting up at that low height😫
If I had gotten down off it on my hands and knees it would of been easier but the reason i used it was not to be n the floor in white capris…..never again will I do that!
A hint Ardy that MAY help if you ever get in this situation again, heaven forbid. Spread your legs and place your hand between your legs on the stool and push with your hand and legs simultaneously. It can help, but with the stool as low as it was maybe not.
It wont happen again.
You could find yourself in a different situation. Just keep it in mind.
I push myself up with my hands it does help😘
I figured the stool was too small to use both hands. This works if you ever get on a low commode too.

Hi Ardy it is a shame you have so much knee and back pain and can’t seem to get any help.
It is worse today.
I know. Backs are really tricky but usually there is a remedy for knees.
I have rested pretty much all day and knee is feeling better.
I put capsaicin on that knee in the front and back when i went to bed and when i woke up it was hot/burning.
I don’t think I’d want to use that. I think you have that prescription cream, it should be better. My doctor gave that to me when my knee was the size of a basketball.
I dont have prescription cream for pain. Its OTC
Ardyth why can’t you have any prescription cream for your pain? And I wanted to say also, that I use both hands to push up from the toilet, and it makes it so much easier. I have to be careful though, if I push too hard I might catapult somewhere. I’m sorry you hurt so bad. Would ice pack or heating pad help? 😘

Good morning Bella Buds and a beautiful one it is. I’ve been contemplating going to Columbia for the Farmer’s Market. It isn’t my favorite thing to get out in the morning but necessary for the farmer’s market. I just fixed Casey’s treat and he is now out of grapes. So I decided I might as well go on to the farmer’s market and then to Walmart to get grapes and anything else I see.

I saw this salad on one of the morning shows that calls for peaches and Rick bought some and they still feel on the harder side.
For me peaches are the hardest fruit to pick out. I have the worst luck. I have pretty much given up on peaches.
That looks like a really good salad except for the arugula. I don’t care for that. It tastes bitter to me.
I wasnt a big fan of it but starting to like it better.
Just need to ripen on the counter never put in the fridge, depending how hard the peaches are it can take 2-3 days to ripen
The peaches I pick always seem dry and not juicy.
Those are ones that were picked to early and refrigeration caused the problem
I bought 2 CO peaches today. I have them sitting out. I will let you know how they taste when they are softer.
They also spoil quickly and I have had bruised peaches just trying to get them home.
If the peaches are hard just let them sit on the counter to ripen don’t refrigerate being cold stops the ripening. The salad looks so good😋
