Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Last night’s eclipse was pretty cool, it was nice and clear here in Rocky. 🌚
Kitty got here around 10.30a; went to see Rick, then the 3 of us went to lunch, then back to Rick for a couple more hours; turned into a pretty big day; she’s gone to bed already, and i’m right behind her.

I’m finally back inside I was ready to go in and Jade wanted to walk out front so we walked down to the corner and back she smelled someone she didn’t like and growled at the smell that was a long the side walk-cat probably sprayed there. Met my new neighbors a nice couple kind of newly Weds they were married last November they are Alex and Jax. It’s fun to make new freinds😍
