Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hello…last night I watched the eclipse off and on…I told my mom about it so maybe she did, too. I could see it from my kitchen and dining room windows once it got up higher than the trees. I walked this morning with my neighbor/friend, not a very long walk. I never could find the eclipse. I don’t know if I didn’t look in the right place, or if trees or clouds were in the way. But I was very tired and needed to go to bed. Nice to walk with a neighbor/friend. I know you are always happy to go places with hubby. It will be really nice next week to go to a scenic place such as park or lake.
Hi Lynn, beautiful day😍 coffee clinks to you and enjoy the rest of your day out and about😘 the eclipse was so cool, I had to go out on my back steps to get a look at it and did get to see some through the tree branches I only looked once and got to see almost peek time
I always go out in the middle of the night to look at the moon. I get better pictures that way.
They had on the news said what time peek viewing was so I went outside at that time😍 and that was 11:00 to about 11:15 It helped that I woke up around that time
I could see it perfectly from my window, it was pretty cool, I usually don’t get to see nighttime events bc it’s usually too cloudy here
