Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I can’t authenticate this story. But if it really came from channel 5 in Nashville I’m sure that it is true. It is one of the original network broadcast stations and I’m sure they had reason to believe the story is true.

Good morning Bella Buds, another hot day and we are so dry now. I hope we get rain soon. I saw below that Karen also had trouble seeing posts. OK now a different morning post from you Debbie😍 I understand not wanting to use the machine but how is the study done if you don’t use it?
The study wants to know how I sleep without the machine, so the night of the study I can’t use the machine. But what I do with the machine now has nothing to do with the study.
You are on a schedual for the study, how do they know how you are sleeping if you don’t use the machine? you are asleep I don’t understand how it works?
The machine is supposed to prevent apneas. The study tells if I need the machine. With my weight loss I may no longer have sleep apnea. It is to determine if I need the machine.
I was confused also but I think I know what you mean now, you have to wear the device that detects sleep apnea while you are sleeping but not the cpap machine? I was thinking you were talking about not using the sleep study machine and I think that’s what tripped me and Julie up
The test is to determine if I still have sleep apnea. In other words does an air blockage stop my breathing during sleep enough to need a machine to keep my air passage open. Before I lost weight my apneas were just a little over normal into the mild category. With weight loss I could very well be into the normal category now. The sleep apnea machine keeps the air flowing, you wear it every night, or the hose that is attached to the machine. yes, I understand how it works but the way you worded it made it sound (to me and I think Julie) like you were going to sleep without the sleep study device (me) forgetting that you are using a cpap machine, at least, if I can speak for Julie, that is what we were interpreting it as…then after I googled it I realized you were talking about sleeping without the cpap machine not without the sleep study device (which is where I was confused as I believe Julie was also) sometimes explaining things through texting can be exhausting 😫😄
I think the real confusion is last night I slept without the regular sleep apnea machine. That has nothing to do with the study which in my definition not a machine. It is a strap and does have a I volt battery, a nose thing that just records respiration and an Oximeter. It is more comparative to a portable heart monitor which just records heart data and fits in a pocket. It doesn’t treat a problem, just furnishes data. You were clear. I was just explaining a little better. It is a southern thing. We won’t say in three words what can be better understood in 12. I’ll try not to over explain.
I know weight loss can have a huge impact on sleep and breathing. I think you are either done, or close to done with CPAP!!

Morning When i logged into my bank i noticed it said private bank, which i didnt remember it saying before. I already did….at Walmart where i saw them in MN that is why Julie was a little confused. But I need an eye exam first.

Good morning…sitting on my porch, will be another hot one today. I loved the feeling last night, my leg muscles feeling so relaxed….they were moving the whole time in the water, over a couple hours…I’d forgotten that feeling..for a couple years swam in my neighbor friend’s pool..we both talked about how it helped us physically and mentally …she moved away 🙁 she took care of grandkids often and taught them all to swim, we had fun.
something sad in our town…a little boy was killed in a car crash, mom and other son still in the hospital…I know a few of their relatives. Several churches are praying and there is a go fund me.
The poor family, best wishes for them💖
