Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I just saw this message, Debbie. I didn’t really do anything much. I cleaned here and there, but not a lot. I should have gotten more done, I was up a long time.
You probably did more than me.
I don’t know, I was pretty bad after I saw the work I’m going to have to do tomorrow.
Did you soak it in anything so it will loosen up? Do you have any oven cleaner! Spray it on and let it sit over night. Anything to soften it. If your husband had just stopped his cooked and let it cool enough the clean up the worst.
I put it in a sink of hot water and am letting it get somewhat degreased there, then I will take to the baking soda and vinegar tomorrow to get the caked stuff off. It is messy.

I love their wings they are seasoned so they don’t need a sauce really but I got some jalepeno Cheese sauce, I haven’t tried it so I got it to try😋
😂. I just read below about the 4-5 inch wingspan of that moth. Came up here and saw wings don’t need a sauce! My eyes bulged I guess until I realized what you were talking about! 🤣

I always eat in my bed, Jade used to to, when I first got her she would jump up and take food off my plate. Now she doesn’t do that anymore😘 she was starved as a kitten never any cat food until she went into foster care, now she trusts that there is food for her to eat and she’s not going hungry
She went from the worst to the best.
I’m finally back inside, went and got my pizza then had Jade out for a bit, then realized its garbage night so got the garbage out to the street

The calmest day I’ve had in the last 7 weeks. Until i dropped a quart of ice water all over my end table & onto the carpet. Hope I grabbed the charger in time … 🙄 Did get some old paperwork cleaned out.
