Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning Bella Buds. Boy we are dry. Hopefully we will get some rain later in the week . I plan to cook something simple today, maybe some frozen chicken tenders so Jo will eat. I told a farmer’s market guy I had never eaten eggplant so he gave me two small ones. I need to cook them but may want to look for some ideas. I bought some Parmesan cheese already. Debbie Good morning😘 just do the egg plant like you do your oven roasted veggies or you can pan fry it, egg plant gets really soft when you cook it, you can Google some recipes😋 I can’t eat egg plant I’m allergic to it and I really wish I could eat it.
I think the only thing I’m going to do different is add some Parmesan toward the end of cooking it so it doesn’t interfer with browning. I usually don’t add black pepper but somehow I think I’d like it on this even tho I’ve never had eggplant.
Use your seasonings that’s a good idea
I love fried eggplant with syrup on them…..I know you wont do that.

No nothing like a pancake I just like syrup on them, it is not common
I like a lot of things not common, like cranberry sauce with spaghetti, or just a touch of sweetness in some veggies, not so much you’d notice much.
right…I have always thought it strange you eat cranberries with many things I would never think of

Those are fried green tomatoes, maybe you missed that. I didnt have a pic of fried eggplant.
I didn’t actually pay much attention.but they do look like some of the photos I saw of fried zucchini.

I think it is pretty common to flour them, I don’t know about breading them.
Only if you fry them, but not necessary to flour them a friend of mine who has a gluten allergy uses sliced egg plant as pasta when she makes lasagna so no flour its gluten free
just egg and bread crumbs. I wouldnt like it roasted – too mushy for me and I dont like zucchini roasted but fried, yes.
Breading adds to it other wise it turns to mush

Hey ardy I was reading here a bit and saw, that you are back. It seems that we had the same problems . I had the same fears (passwords, …) before i cleared the cache of spo site. I cleared some other sites, too, now i can log in – like it normally was – again. Before , i could only log in incognito. Like you did, too. Hi www. I know in the past quite a few years back h&f would tell us to clear the cache. Well, I don’t think any of us knew that we could just clear the SPO cache. So we cleared the cache and we lost all our passwords and had to put them in manually. But yes, I tried everything you tried. what caused the mess?
Someone spilled something all over the burner and then it sank down into the burner pan underneath, and I didn’t know about it, and then it was cooked on again and it burnt on there really well that time. I’ll let you guess who done it.
