Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.
Julie’s new roof. Looks like a good color. It won’t show dirty easily.
Your shingles look really nice
I think they look nice- Bruce picked the color, he did good!!!
They have a suttle greenish tint to them that doesn’t show up well from my little phone, I like the pattern
Very nice indeed 😘
Hi Pam😘 did you have storms yesterday?
Good morning Bella Buds. We wil be probably 10 degrees hotter today than yesterday. I cold cold last night but won’t be today. Y’all have a good one!
Well hello Debbie Julie and I have been chatting up a storm
Hi Ardy I see!
😁
Blah, blah blah!!!!!!😍
😍
Good Morning Debbie, I have been watching videos, then I noticed what time it was😘
😁. I didn’t have anything to say anyway. I answered the question down below with why Karen, and I, cried during the Emmy’s.
I saw your post, thank you I can find it on Youtube and watch😘
Good morning girls. It’s a hot muggy morning. I am sweating in the house, Even though the temperature outside is 72, it’s very humid and very sticky. Nikki would not take her pills at 2:00 and she still won’t take them and there’s really not much I can do. right now she’s resting peacefully and not coughing so I will leave her alone. I think my glasses are OK I think I just for some reason had to get used to it yesterday which I’ve never really had any trouble getting used to new ones before. And I know my… Read more »
The new rug I got
My glasses but the picture doesn’t really do them Justice
I like them Ardyth 😍the patterns are great its hard to tell by the angle of the picture are the lenses in the first picture narrower than the second one or are they the same?
The first picture our metal frames and yes the lenses are smaller The other pair is plastic and they are bigger. They might be a little big on my face but I really didn’t care I wanted something a little different with some color in it
I really love the second pair the frames are cute
I was trying to show the design on the metal frames that’s why I have a meta angle I took many pictures and I don’t know they didn’t turn out very well this morning so I sent the best ones
I love them🤓
a better pic of the metal frames
They have the clip on sunglasses
Those are darling and will look great on you😍
thanks
They look nice.
Thats pretty love the design
Good morning Ardyth😘 Its gotten really warm here, when I got up all the windows were fogged up. I had the windows open last night so the cold night air is in the house, then the warm air comes and it makes the windows fog up. Wonderful that you can see with your new glasses, can’t wait to see what new frames you picked out🤓 a new rug changes the feel of the room and can add a pop of color when everything else is about the same color. I was thinking what’s the word and then Accent it adds… Read more »
Good morning Ardy, sounds like you are making progress on your glasses and will soon have them “just right”. Your new rug is pretty. Enjoy visiting with Muriel.
love the new rug, blue is so pretty, I’d keep it for a long time. Your glasses are very nice.
Thanks, they get dirty so fast where sit so i buy new rugs
Good Morning Bellas, its raining the roof guys are not here but their stuff is, they just need to cleanup so that can happen any time. Plans for the day?Laundry I might do laundry today? Its suppose to rain all day Oh well. Debbie they did have a shingle lift it was on one of their ladders see if I can find a picture? its called a hoist. I wanted to sit on it and take a ride up to the roof😂
Oh dear I hope the rain doesn’t make a mess of things outside for you. Glad it’s done though did they finish the garage
I had to go out in the rain to get the trash can out to the street, had to manuver through ladders and had to move one, stand it up on its side so I could pull the trash can through
Ugg Ugg and in the wet
Its humid then being in the rain, the air was wet😂
Good morning Sunshine. I haven’t seen a lift like that one. Thanks for the picture.
Because we talked about it yesterday, I was thinking like a big lift machine, like a forklift? but this was just a machine that’s attatched to the ladder. I had a aha momment🤔
Most of the lifts I’ve seen look more like a scissors thing that sits on a small trailer, or maybe like a conveyor belt.
Those would be big would have to reach a two story roof, they would be in the way
I saw how your bushes and flowers were all pulled out, I’d be upset.
I’m trying not to let it get me mad. I’m just trying to figure out how to fix the flower garden its done growing but all the seeds have been loss. They go to seed in the fall when the plants are done growing and are making seeds. I might have to wait till next spring to see what comes up? might have to call the city and see if they can put more flower seeds down?
Well that was a crap game if I’ve ever seen one; we looked like 💩💩
Well, they’re working the bugs out. They’ll be fine next week. 😊
They’re going to need a LOT of improvement 😂
😂 Oh Pam- started like that for the Packers to, they lost but didn’t play bad they just lost😏
Good night to everyone. My eyes are droopy! Everyone have a good night, at peace with your world and reality. Hugs and love and good night.
For those of you who might have missed this. Taylor Swift prerecorded for the Emmya

Oh Becki, THAT WAS GREAT! SO FUNNY! Thank you so much! 🤣🥰
I really needed it.
Thanks Becki, i didn’t get to see this. — “Think she’ll sing?” “No” 😂
😘
I like that they did a skit😍
