Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Taking a moment from going back and forth all day and deciding about exactly what to do in our situation. 🙄 I’ve noticed that Dutchess feels better after eating. I am feeding her very small amounts, very frequently. She is a little better, but still needs a vet to see her. My auto mechanic shop opens at 8am tmrw, as does the vet. I will reach out to them for help tmrw. I wish this hadn’t happened on a weekend. I am just pooped! Now I will read chat from today. 🙂

I meant to share this earlier about a marketing thing. I take Align every day, a probiotic. I buy it at Amazon. I went to order some “Align Pro” and noticed it was now 90 cents a capsule, up from I think 76 cents. Then I saw just plain Align without the “pro, I think 72 cents a capsule. So I googled the difference in the two for that money. It said there was no difference, same thing. The pro was just marketing. Hello…we’ve had rain on and off for a couple days/nights..and more this week. I went to church and later we might go out..not great weather so maybe to a store, or FIL’s, or both. DH is doing something on the computer and on the phone also, so not sure when..
