Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I am getting ready to go have my sonogram. Last night Rogers abscess looked really good but this morning it does not look good so the Vet can see him at 1:40 today!! Between him and Nikki we have our hands full.
My cousin called to tell me her cousin Carol died….Carol and i were like cousins ( long story to explain) we went to Europe with each other in the band for 6 weeks before Senior High. Carol and I in 1990.

Sorry about your friend Ardy. That was a very long friendship, all the way back to high school. Good luck with the sonogram. I don’t know which body part, but I suppose one that hurts. So it is hard to say what “luck” means. Sometimes we want nothing found, but sometimes we hope something IS found and fixable.
We have known each other since we were kids……Carol is my cousin, Shirley’s cousin……her dad was married to Shirleys dads sister ….anyway we were like cousins.😍
I hope Roger gets better. Did it go ok with Nikki’s medicine. Looks like the time for the morning dose is in about 30 minutes.

What a night ⚡ ⛈⛈⚡ T-storm started around 11p, then we lost power about midnight, i did call the power co.; finally came back around 1.30a — still storming; thunder/lightning and RAIN. Slept about an hour then woke with a cramp in my leg; got back to sleep about 4a til about 7.30a. And poor Chuck, said he woke to pitch dark, there’s absolutely no light in the basement and his phone was on the charger across the room.

Chuck’s always lived in the basement; it was Rick who lived upstairs with me.
That was the way I thought it was. I was pretty sure it was in the old house, but not as sure in this house.
I probably knew that but thought Rick lived in the basement for some reason.
Oh dear at least you got power on before there was a risk of the food spoiling. That is always my concern. Of course, also when it is cold! Sorry about your horrible night.
