Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good Morning Debbie😍 does Nancy have family with her?
She lives with her husband. All the grandchildren are in school so she would not be busy now with family. That doesn’t mean she isn’t busy in another way. I had the phone in my hand about to call her and the mowers showed up! I have to wait until the front yard is done because of the noise. They get Jo up earlier which means Casey gets going so now I don’t know if I can call. Rats!
And this mower today is going really slow! Like a third slower than usual.

I could but If Jo is up she will want to hear. It is her that “taught” Casey to get noisy and she won’t listen to me. This is a good example why it bothers me she won’t listen. We learned about Amazon behavior when we first got Casey but Jo does not listen to reason.
I love Casey just the way he is-the little pickle💚😂

😂 he does get loud, Jo and she does egg him on but Casey is just being happy talking to his people(flock)😘
If you are talking about cancer, radiation, your daughter’s divorce you don’t want to try to talk over that.

He can be loud off the phone too in the mornings when Jo is around. I probably could have called Nancy because Casey has had other distractions but I didn’t know that. But like Julie said, I could have gone to my bedroom.
I always go to the bedroom to talk because Rick and I have the TV on out here….and then he doesnt have to listen to me talk
Jo wants to hear what is said. I want her to hear sometimes because if she doesn’t she starts asking questions and then not only have I been on the phone she wants a recap and I have to repeat things. And half the time she asks things that are relatively insignificant and I’ll say I can’t remember what she said about that. Sometimes I purposely try to talk to sister Nancy when Jo is home even though I have to wait for her to get home.

Doesn’t matter. She wants to know. But I guess she at least knows the family. She knew friend Nancy’s siblings more than Nancy. And of course she has known sister Nancy for years and we have all camped and gone places together.

She lives close but we just call, we never visit in the house. I figured I’d have a better chance in the morning to catch her. This guy is just now got to where the noise is getting bad. The usual guy would be done by now with the front yard.
