Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Continuing my good night – I get getting page refreshed – so cleaning, laundry, etc. tomorrow and Wed. will be doing all the cooking for a Christmas with my brother who is coming To spend Thursday here. Greetings gals. Finally plopped in my recliner after a busy day. Several morning business calls. Dropped off some food at my church for a local pantry, mailed the last of local Christmas cards, ran all over looking for specific organic dog treats for a friend’s dog’s Christmas basket. Finally found them. Who knew a dog could eat dried apples or bananas!🙂 On the way home picked up some take out orange chicken and rice from a Chinese place.

All the Christmas tasks seem never ending at times esp. those darn Christmas cards! I can relate to not finding things. My craft room is a pile of heaps. Or a heap of piles…lol. Have to wrap a few more presents then can put the ribbons and gift wrap away!

Hi Lin I forgot to look at the top of chat. I do that too much! You have been busy. Sometimes it helps to shop for hard to find items by phone, then go to get them. But you probably didn’t know they were hard to find. Oh that Chinese sounds good. I haven’t had Chinese in awhile.
I hate shopping by phone. I’d get some newly hired teen who tells me uh, sure, we have it. I drive all the way there and nope, not there.

Sort of🙂 The pet store had the organic dried sweet potato and on my wY home I stopped at a grocer that had the hot food where I knew I could pick up some Chinese food. I peeked in their healthy food section and found the dried apples and bananas. So between the two stores I found was on the gift idea list for Toddy, my friend’s dog.🙂 You are up late!
