Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. What have you been doing Debbie?
I’ve cooked a little for Casey and Jo, washed dishes. I’ve checked in here quite a bit but didn’t post much. I talked to Nancy but probably only 30 minutes. I talked to Julie about 5 minutes. I sent Julie your photo on Christmas dressed in your flamingo outfit. I thought she would enjoy your cuteness but she didn’t get it yet. Sometimes it takes a while for her to get texts.

Just some Tyson southern chicken tenders. They are pretty good and easy. She has potatoes, opened a can of baked beans, she has a biscuit. Julie will enjoy the picture.
Hi Debbie!💛 Yes. Quiet day here. Finally got good sleep. Driveway got cleared of snow then more snow but not alot. Hoping the nasty weather keeps folks indoors and off the streets. I’m staying home and staying warm, Did you get results of the bloodwork?

Hi Lin. We just saw on tv Madison it is 11. Cold! 🥶. I wrote a little about my day. Mostly a little cooking, dishes, phone talking, tv. Nothing big.

Yes, quite cold out. I just threw some salt around porch for mail carrier so he doesn’t slip but then remembered no mail tomorrow.
Jo has chicken, I have left over cube steak. I’ll probably cook me some fish tomorrow.

Yep!🙂 Headache finally eased and slept well. My snow guy apparently came and cleared driveway, etc. And it snowed again…lol. I can do it but the pain isn’t worth it. Got my Christmas tree lights on and thinking about supper. I think I’m goiing to have white beans with kale from my garden that I freeze. And the last of a loaf of Challah bread. Did things finally quiet down with the drug house? Do they tend to party loud on New Years’s eve? Hope not! Quiet here thus far. I stay hime to avoid the drunks behind the wheel!

Nope. I’ve never made a loaf of bread in my life. All that kneading…forget it🙂 Not much of a baker. Love whipping up soups and stews. Sure, send Julie whatever you want. I have no clue what copy / paste involves. I have her email but don’t know if she would get it up there.

Sorry for late reply! Had to throw some salt around porch, forgetting no mail tomorrow! My mail box is right by my front door so I salt the cement walkway there so carrier doesn’t slip. Hopefully it is quiet there now. Crazy how people shoot fireworks towards buildings!!

WoW no one has chatted since Pam at 12:30. I went to the eye place to have the glass cleaner refilled for free and Rick and I went to check out the new LaRosa concert venue for parking since we are going to a concert Saturday night.
