Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hi Deborah, when I got back I checked the dates out and what I read was Jan 14th even wrote it down. Now we just need the cam turned on and get a good look at the eggs for banding-we could be on pins and needles for days😂

It has been 16 days since the 1st egg was laid, 14 days since the second. Above it says 14-16 days for hatch. So we are actually within hatch watch for both eggs.

Hello…the sun is out and high will be in the 40s…doing some laundry …we’re going to pick up a picture that DH had framed (the framer is the guy (and his wife and dogs) who had our favorite gift shop…miss them a lot. I went through another box of stuff from FIL”s house (DH brings home boxes and bags…some will be donated, a few books I’ll look through or read and probably donate eventually…a couple htings I’ll see if my sister wants but doubt it.)…last night we stopped by with the dogs. well, back to getting something done, maybe

Hi Debbie..he’s been bringing home stuff for a couple years or so…most of it has been pretty easy to figure out. I haven’t kept much of it.
I guess at this stage it is ok with FIL? I’m trying to do my own stuff, I need to get more dedicated to the process. I want less clutter, and I don’t want a family member to do it.
DH doesn’t ask and he doesn’t see him bringing things home

Hi Julie ..it will be nice, saw them maybe a month or so ago? so DH could choose the frame and matting…of course we also talked awhile..it will mostly be just him but hoping to see his wife and the dogs. We’ll have more to frame once in awhile so we’ll be seeing him or them.

Hey there Karen, I wasn’t sick, just didn’t feel right. It was like I was exhausted to the point of having to be careful. It could have been a combo of things. Didn’t sleep as well. Blood pressure. The weather front coming in. Not eating enough calories. Who knows. I’m still tired. But not sick.
Back home..Rick called me and told me to turn around and come home because Julie called in sick.
Well that was fast, hope Julie feels better its great they called-did you get to the Dollar store?
Yep that was fast huh. I had to wait until the dollar tree opened at 8:00 so went back and just got home had to get some lickums for Roger And some cards and some scrubbies. Now I’m doing laundry I told Lynn I’d give her a blanket and some sheets and Dennis is coming 2:30 for a haircut
