Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. We went to one area of the Tucson mineral and gem how today. To see it all would take two weeks. It was hard to find parking since they are charging $10 in the lots and Rick wasnt paying $10….

Amazing photos Ardy. So there really was a dinosaur that stood up like that? I can’t imagine a show like that that would take 2 weeks to see. I imagine if someone spent 2 weeks really going at it you could see the Smithsonian in 2 weeks. That has to be some show. Bet you had a good time. How are your feet?
It is the largest Gem and mineral show in the world! We just saw a fraction and it is spread out in different areas too.
I bet people come from everywhere to see it.
And they come from all over to sell. The stones I bought were from Argentina and the seller didnt speak English

Hello…we were out longer than I thought…got breakfast at McD’s (the coffee tasted so good today)…then took the bag of peanuts to his dad’s house..FIL was sleeping so just talked to the caregiver and hung out for a little while..then to the new little shop (nice owner).. a drive through the cemetery to check on it and pick up mail..then the grocery store for a couple things. I don’t have anything planned but could do a load of laundry at least.

Good morning Bella Buds. Still watching tennis so don’t tell me if you know who won! It could be over in 5 minutes, it could be an hour. Such is tennis. They said the cheapest seats are $5500.
We are 22 and sunny. Earlier Macie was a puddle in my lap and there was a big noice outside. Macie jerked her head up, ran to the window. I think snow must have slid off the roof because most of those big Ickes were down. All of them would not have fallen at once.

She really wants to go out, I’m worried about espousing her ears to the cold, areas that have been frost bit can be very painful and I don’t want to hurt her. Its 20 right now so getting warmer, just bring her out for a short bit of time
Even after all these years more painful? She will let you know if they hurt. She will rub them. Does she have booties? It will be good for you both even if it is short.
No booties, the side walks are clear of snow and ice, just going to walk her out front

Hello..the furkids woke me up early and I’ve had my coffee. Last night we went to the pet supply store for dog treats and then to FIL’s house…as usual the dogs were so bad in the truck…so not really fun. I showed FIL a couple pictures, one of DS in Japan, that’s where he is now…and chatted with the caregiver. Tired so might lie down for a little while. I see. I didn’t know. I was assuming it was his work but couldn’t figure out how. I know he goes all over the world for races and photo shoots but those are less than 2 months.
a tv show would be a couple months at least and he did two of those…not sure when/if he’ll do another one
Oh I know that about tv shows. I guess I didn’t consider those his work, but I’m sure work is what opened the door to them. I watched both of those.
