Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. It is easier to get things done when your husband is not home but I’ve gotten used to just doing what I wanna do since I’m retired but then my husband isn’t working so it’s a different story. But that is why I clean early in the morning before he gets up because I don’t like cleaning when somebody else is around
i don’t either…(like cleaning when someone is around)…I guess Mondays and Tuesdays are my days for doing quieter things..

Thanks Pam. It’s one of ignacio’s latest murals and I saw it when we were driving downtown with Lynn so since we were in the area today Rick parked and we got out so I could take pictures. It’s pretty cool
Hi Pam. 😘 Beautiful dinosaurs. Did you know: Modern birds are the only surviving lineage of dinosaurs, having adapted and diversified after the mass extinction event. Some of the dinosaurs acquired wings at some point. So therefore, dinosaurs are not really extinct, right? 🤔 🤗 Just thinking. I guess that’s why I like eagles.
I may watch Trevor Noah’s monologue for the grammy’s; since it’s his last one. I know practically nothing about the artists and probably wouldn’t like their music anyway 😄
I guess I’ve changed. Years ago I liked a lot of artists, related to the music I saw on the Grammy’s. It seems most of what I see on the Grammy’s I just don’t relate to anymore.
