Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good evening…well I did some laundry…used to always do most of it on Mondays, for years…but doing it a little different now..might go back to Mondays though, at least for most of it. DH runs out of some things but I can do his twice a week. It’s been a pretty quiet day, watched youtube videos and relaxed…DH left, came home, then left again..working on an electrical problem at his rentals and said he had to climb the pole…it’s dark now though so he’d be done, at least with that job I think. I love Trevor Noah! I’m going to try to watch the Grammys. But they are on CBS, the same network that locally dropped us early during the last award show. I hope it doesn’t happen again. Talons crossed.

I am receiving a weird ad that messes up the templates at the bottom of the page. I’ll be typing along and all a sudden the template comes up for emojies. It changes the location of the letters down below and changes it to audio mode. During that, I put my finger down to type something and it’s in a different mode and takes me out of the text message altogether. Hi Lin. Have lost a msg to you twice. Anybody else, I can’t get to messages very well right now. 😥 I’ll try again in a few.
