Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning…DH brought me a McDonald’s breakfast combo this morning…I watched Lindsey Vonn 🙁 and now puppy bowl..it’s 20 years of puppy bowl..love the adoption stories…seeing the Obamas and their dogs and Champ Biden. DH met up with some people to sell some post cards, hope he sells a lot. I’ll watch skating this afternoon, then maybe do something with my sister and also later watch more Olympics, some of the Superbowl/Superb Owl 😀

Good morning Bella Buds and happy Super Bowl day. It is amazing to me that talking central time, the Road to the Super Bowl starts at 11 AM, then the Pregame show at 12 noon until 5 PM when the actual game begins. I mean, how long can you talk about one game? I’m sure they will talk past games too, but really? Thank goodness the Puppy Bowl comes in there I think starting at 1 PM, and Olympics on other channels. So football will be over for the season except for that newer league that was established. How is your hair color??
It’s good, looks like a ash blonde, I think if my hair had been a lighter color, it would look more silver. I need to look at the color in a brighter light. Kind of hard to see what it looks like in the house🤓 I do like it, it’s just different darker than what I’m used too, can’t really think of how to describe it😂 oh well its just hair, can always change the color, that’s what’s fun about hair😃

Watching the Olympics and saw Lindsey Vonn crash :(
She takes a licking and keeps on ticking, that’s really to bad, she did a practice training run yesterday and it was really good, but shes skiing on a torn ACL her other knee is titanium, I hope she has no other injuries.
How bad was it? Is she out?
I saw videos. She was air lifted out. Yes, very bad and she obviously won’t be back. I’m very sorry about this.
Using a helicopter is protocol to get someone off the mountain, she’s in stable condition, she clipped a gate could of caused her to loose balance, from watching the video slowed down. They think it was hitting the gate and not her knee that caused her to fall
I read somewhere she was screaming in pain, that sounds like she won’t be back for this Olympics but it doesn’t sound like anything that time won’t cure. I always worry about spine and brain injuries.
She was sitting up and no head injury.
I could hear her screaming when it happened.
Yes a lot of pain.
