Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I haven’t been able to tell what’s on when, when I can check the channels. I’ve gone on several streaming channels and then the local tv. And of course I’ve been on YouTube and seen all kinds of stuff. So I don’t know what or who did what when, but I had fun watching it. Chock and Bates did great!

i watched today’s Games this afternoon so i already know the winners/leaders. it’s such a PITA when it’s 8 hours ahead of us in MST.
It can be really frustrating. And so much is on it is hard to know what is new and current and what is a repeat. We are 7 hours different.
During the day, i noticed it said LIVE in one of the corners.
Yes that helps me when I watch tennis. The Australian Open was like 16-17 hours different! Talking about confusing. But dealing with 7-8 is still hard. But remember if you tape anything it will say live when it isn’t for you when you watch.
At least i know if i’ve taped it 😄

It was a while ago, and it was when I was trying to find the national coverage on streaming. I don’t know where I was. 🤔 I ended up on NBC local antenna.

Really complicated trying to watch the Olympics. I’ve lost control of the internet a couple of times tonight myself also. 🤣
Karen Im so frustrated I lost another post that I had typed a lot. The screen flickers and jumps and it is gone. I even turned off my ad blocker I think it might have made it worse. I think a new ad pops up and makes my post disappear. It is getting close to my bedtime so I think I’ll just go to the top and say good night.

One of our better meals this week since we’ve had plumbers here 3 days that stayed longer than expected so it interfered with our planned meals and we didn’t have much to eat

i remember it well! we lived in a house with 2 lovely hills to slide down
Lucky you to have the hills so close we had to go to the out skirts of Towne to sled, Mom or Dad had to take us and in the winter that meant everyday
Those hills weren’t so lovely when it was time to mow the darn things 😠
