Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning Bella Buds, sunny, 25. I’m watching some Olympics. I like the skiing where they do the rails and all those flips. Speed skating is on now. I don’t care for that it is like it all looks the same, so I put it on CNN. Soon the women will be doing the skiing and I’ll put it back on. Y’all have a good day.

Just in case you want to hear everything……..lol Good morning It is 56 degrees at 4:30 AM I am glad yesterday is over………..The two plumbers showed up at 8:45 am and left at 4:45 pm. It was a long day. They got up on the roof and snaked/descaled the pipes to the kitchen sink and the washing machine. It took longer than I thought. Good Morning Ardyth, so the plumbing you have on the roof is because you don’t have a basement? Did they put your garbage disposal back in? one day and it’s done. It’s good to have easy access to the sewer pipe and just be able to pull it out if needed, like they have access to bathroom pipes this way. Plumbing is interesting, I know enough to replace a toilet just can’t lift one-knowhow to replace the wax seal, I helped Bruce put a new energy efficient toilet in this house. No to the disposal. Rick does not like them so he asked them to take it out. We dont know the answer but the exhaust vents are in the roof , they go into the drains.

Thanks Ardyth, I just couldn’t figure out how or why they did it this way-have always had a basement, vents are on side of house, Mom and Dads up north are vented on the roof-no basement there. It makes sense now😂

I know you are glad to have this all done. Breathe easy now. I think you are wise to leave the bathrooms alone for now. It might be a decade before it needs doing, maybe never. When you think about it, kitchens deal with grease and food particles. Laundry dirt and lint. All bathrooms deal with is hair, maybe some soap scum. A preventative might be buying drain strainers to trap hair. They just cost a few dollars and if you get the right ones you can probably insert them yourselves. Hello…well, I was able to do both…DH came home a bit early so I saw the dogs going nuts…he did have to leave and bring the work car back to work and get his truck..I went to the game and we left early, we were losing…enjoyed hearing the band before the game and halftime was fun to watch.
