Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning Lynn. Sounds like you had a very nice birthday, I am glad. A lot was crammed in to your day. Don’t worry about missing the skating, there will be a lot more, some today. I can’t keep all the different types of skating apart. I have trouble identifying the parts of the competition that people will talk about for a long time from the parts that will be hardly mentioned. You got some nice gifts, enjoy your day.
I did eventually see the women’s and men’s..and some of Chock and Bates and can watch videos. lots more to come.
