Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning Bellas had rain last night if we had a T-storm I didn’t hear it. Windy today but will be warm😃 so for sure another walk today. I have a roast to put in the crock pot, so that’s what I will do for dinner😋Oh and its national drink wine day Cheers, Debbie wish Jo happy wine day🍷

Something to eat and using the crock pot I can leave go for a walk and I don’t have to worry about it. I did this when I was working, I would put something in the crock pot and go to work all day and then come home and dinner would be ready and done

I think so too. I need to use the crock pot more. And if you use the liners the cleanup is so easy.
I just add water to it with some soap,swish it around put the lid on and let it sit over night, it usually cleans up pretty easy

Good morning Sunshine. Good you are getting rain without bad storms. I think the next time I cook a roast I’m going to do it in the crockpot. I think I even have some old crock liners to make cleanup a breeze. I wonder if I don’t brown it, I will tell much difference. I don’t want to wash the extra skillet! Enjoy the walk, you always seem to have something interesting. All the way from encountering fur babies to getting hit on. 😁
I still do brown the out side of the roast, and then deglaze the pan to get all the flavor-brown bits and put that in the crock with some onion soup mix

Good early morning…it’s a windy day which makes it colder. Not sure yet what I’m doing, possibly lunch with my cousin..my mom didn’t stop by yesterday, she will today or whenever. I can send the link to DS’s ad to Ardy, not to post, but just for her to see…maybe it can be googled. Think I’ll have a bit more coffee, a small cup….the sun is out now, too..maybe that will perk me up.

not really…most days just chores and nothing much..yesterday, nothing and a lot of days like that..maybe you mostly notice when I do something, lol..actually trying to do less and less. think I annoy DH with too many walks and going places, he just has no time
